The 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference was held from June 18 to 21 in Vilnius, Lithuania.<\/p>\n

The International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is the world\u2019s premier global forum for bringing together heads of state, civil society, the private sector and more to tackle the increasingly sophisticated challenges posed by corruption. These conferences aim to raise awareness and stimulate debate, which encourages networking and global exchange of experiences that are necessary for effective advocacy and action, both globally and nationally. The conferences also promote international cooperation between governments, civil society, the private sector and citizens by providing an opportunity for face-to-face dialogue and direct connection between representatives from participating agencies and organizations.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This conference gathers over 2000 representatives from institutions, organizations, media and other bodies that actively participate in the fight against corruption. Representatives of Transparency International-Macedonia attended the 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference and had the opportunity to visit some of the numerous plenary sessions, workshops and events that took place within the framework of this conference. Various topics were addressed through these events, such as: global trends in the fight against corruption, protection of whistleblowers, integrity, the fight against corruption through the prism of business, climate change and women’s rights, integrity and many others.<\/p>\n

The participants of the 21st international conference adopted the Declaration “Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity” The 21st IACC Vilnius Declaration | Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity – IACC Series<\/a><\/p>\n

This conference was also used for networking with other organizations, promotion of project activities and sharing experiences and practices in the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n
