On May 28, 2024, Transparency International-Macedonia held an event in Delchevo for presentation of the „National Integrity System assessment of Republic of North Macedonia“, which contains an analysis of the situation with the pillars of the state’s integrity in relation to corruption and the effectiveness of national efforts to deal with corruption.
The report was prepared during 2022 and 2023 within the project “EU4 Rule of Law: Citizen Engagement for Public Integrity (CEPI) in the Western Balkans and Turkey”, which is funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland.
The results of the analysis and the scores for the 15 pillars that include the main institutions that are part of the anti-corruption system were presented by the president of TI-Macedonia, Blagoja Pandovski.
Representatives from institutions, organisations and media were present at the event. The results from the NIS analysis and the recommendations were discussed.
