On February 13, 2024, the Honorary President Sladjana Taseva and the Secretary General Metodi Zajkov of Transparency International-Macedonia held a meeting with the Republic’s Public Prosecutor Ljupco Kocevski. During the meeting, possibilities for expanding mutual cooperation were discussed.
TI-Macedonia presented the findings of the latest research on the National Integrity System Assessment, deepening mutual cooperation for implementation of a system for internal and external channels for protected reporting of whistleblowers, as well as for possible joint cooperation in monitoring of the election process.
The Public Prosecutor Kocevski informed about the situation and activities related to the prosecution and announced greater transparency and accountability.
At the meeting, it was discussed about the greater presence of the civil sector in the processes of creating legislation that covers the fight against corruption.
