The President of Transparency International Macedonia, Blagoja Pandovski, is participating in the high-level international conference “Towards the EU: Enhancing Integrity and Independence of Criminal Justice in the Western Balkans”, which took place in Ljubljana from 10 to 11 March, organized by the Ministry of Justice of Slovenia and the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC).
The conference brought together representatives of government institutions, anti-corruption bodies of the Western Balkan countries, judicial authorities, international and regional organizations, as well as civil society, with the aim of improving the culture of integrity in criminal justice. Special emphasis was placed on the exchange of experiences, strategies and innovative approaches for the systematic prevention of corruption and the application of anti-corruption instruments.
By participating in this conference, Transparency International Macedonia continues to contribute to international efforts to fight corruption and strengthen the rule of law.
