On 25 June in Skopje, the annual event of the Fight Against Corruption Fund (FLCC), held as the Business Integrity Forum, brought together leaders from government, the business community, academia, civil society, and international organizations around a shared vision: strengthening integrity, transparency, and accountability as the foundations of sustainable development and economic growth.
In her address, Marija Sunchevska, representative of Transparency International Macedonia, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the public, private, and civil society sectors, collective action, the protection of whistleblowers, and the crucial role of the private sector in promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity.
Organized by the Fight Against Corruption Fund (FLCC) a regional initiative funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by Expertise France, in cooperation with the Embassy of France in the Republic of North Macedonia and the M6 Educational Centre Skopje the forum demonstrated the power of public-private cooperation in driving meaningful change.
The forum highlighted that sustainable progress depends on collective action. When governments, businesses, academia, and civil society work together, they create the conditions for ethical leadership, responsible business conduct, and long-term prosperity.
