Representatives from 38 Transparency International chapters came together in Prague on 21–22 October 2026 to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation and advance collective anti-corruption efforts across Europe and Central Asia.
The 2026 Europe and Central Asia Regional Meeting brought together more than 40 representatives from 38 Transparency International (TI) chapters, alongside colleagues from the Transparency International Secretariat (TIS) and TI leadership, for two days of discussions, knowledge-sharing and strategic reflection.
The meeting provided a platform for Transparency International chapters to exchange experiences, share good practices and discuss common challenges in the fight against corruption. Participants explored ways to strengthen anti-corruption efforts, promote transparency and accountability, protect civic space, and enhance organisational sustainability. The discussions also highlighted opportunities for closer regional cooperation, knowledge-sharing and coordinated advocacy to address emerging challenges and strengthen the impact of the Transparency International movement across Europe and Central Asia.
