On May 14, 2024, Transparency International – Macedonia held a meeting with the Center for Education and Development – CED from Tearce.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the two organizations to discuss the successful implementation of their respective projects and activities. At the meeting was presented the National Integrity System Assessment, an analysis prepared within the project „EU4 Rule of Law: Citizen Engagement for Public Integrity (CEPI) in the Western Balkans and Turkey“, funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland.
The working meeting also discussed the possibilities for future cooperation between the two organizations. The project „Integrity Watch in the Western Balkans and Turkey: Civil society combating corruption with political integrity data“ financed by the European Union and the regional project SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans, which is implemented by the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) from North Macedonia and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) from Albania, and financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, was also promoted.
Transparency International-Macedonia will continue to organize meetings with local organizations in order to achieve further cooperation.
