On October 8, 2024, the President of the non-governmental organization “Transparency International – Macedonia”, Blagoja Pandovski together with the Secretary General, Metodi Zajkov and Marija Sunchevska, program manager had a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Pance Toshkovski.
The meeting comes at a time when the Minister of Internal Affairs is making available all its capacities for an uncompromising fight against corruption at a high level, and hence both sides assessed it as really necessary and productive.
During the meeting, the report „National Integrity System“ was presented, which analyses in detail the operation and functionality of 15 pillars in the period from 2022-2023. It was also discussed about strengthening the integrity of police officers, as well as all other employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and modalities for achieving that goal were also proposed. In addition, signing a Memorandum of Cooperation through which further cooperation of common interest would be facilitated was discussed.
Cooperation in the area of whistleblower protection and enabling the use of the GlobaLeaks platform for safe and anonymous submission of reports by whistleblowers and other citizens was also discussed.
