The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Transparency International – Macedonia have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at enhancing partnership in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
This Memorandum establishes a framework for joint action, data and expertise exchange, as well as for the implementation of activities focused on increasing transparency and accountability in operations.
The Ministry will cooperate with Transparency International in identifying systemic weaknesses, improving mechanisms for the prevention and detection of corrupt practices, and developing joint programs and training on integrity and professional conduct.
The signing of this document is in line with the strategic program of Transparency International – Macedonia for establishing a system of good governance and effective prevention in the fight against corruption.
