The Sanctions Enforcement Directorate and Transparency International – Macedonia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the aim of promoting partnership in implementing activities in the field of the fight against corruption, improving the integrity and professional standards of employees in the penitentiary system and protected reporting by whistleblowers.
The Directorate will also establish cooperation with penal and correctional institutions, with the aim of promoting transparency, accountability and prevention of corruption in their operations.
