In 2016, Transparency International – Macedonia prepared the report: “The National Integrity System of Macedonia”, which contains an analysis of the situation with the pillars of integrity of Macedonia in relation to corruption and the effectiveness of national efforts to deal with corruption. Within this report, an analysis was made and an assessment was given for 15 pillars, which are part of the country’s state regulation. The assessment is made according to a methodology prepared by the Secretariat of Transparency International. Within this report, the work of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption. The report gave recommendations for improvement and accountability of the work in the Commission. TI-M is preparing a new report that should be published during October 2023. For the purposes of this report, the fulfillment of the recommendations was also analyzed.
Transparency International Macedonia has assessed 100% fulfillment of the recommendations related to the work of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption.
Recommendation 1: the Commission should adopt an internal code of conduct for members elected by the Assembly and establish an effective mechanism for its implementation.

Recommendation 2: The members of the SCPC should ensure that their statements of assets and interests are publicly available, in accordance with the Law on the Prevention of Corruption.

Recommendation 3: The SCPC ensure publishing of its work and decisions along with explanations , especially related to the decisions about political financing, conflict of interests and statements of assets and interests.

Recommendation 4: The SCPC should publish reports according to the law and fulfill its legal obligation for reporting to the Parliament, as well as reports about financing of the political campaigns.
The SCPC regularly publishes all adopted reports for which it has an obligation and continuously sends all reports to the Assembly.
