Through projects and activities, Transparency International Macedonia identifies the vulnerable points in the legislation and judiciary that enable corruption, and it strives for improvement of the situation with whistleblowers in Macedonia and encourages citizens to report corruption. Transparency International Macedonia cooperates with the national chapters of Transparency International in the region and the Secretariat in Berlin through its project activities for a joint fight against corruption.

For the democratic development of a just and inclusive society, it is necessary for all stakeholders, institutions, citizens and the government to be synchronized in the fight against corruption. One of the activities of Transparency International Macedonia is to monitor the legal framework in regards to implementation of the laws – i.e. whether they were adopted under “special“ circumstances for the achievement of a certain goal.
