New EU Commission should walk the talk of transparency in its enlargement negotiations

06.11.2014 On 1 November the new European Commission will officially commence its work for a five year term. The new college of 27 commissioners, led by President Jean Claude Junker, has committed to place transparency at the top of its agenda. The commission should make sure that its big talk about transparency and openness also applies to enlargement negotiations with the candidate and potential candidate countries.

Four media and experts exchanged knowledge about specific media skills

20.05.2014 From May 16th till May 18th, over 30 journalists and editors along with media experts and instructors exchanged knowledge and experiences about specific media skills and techniques regarding the preparation of editorial content in the media.
The events took place in the form of workshops under the project Support to Independent Media in Macedonia, which is implemented by Transparency International-Macedonia and ERIS from the United Kingdom, and is supported by the European Union through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).

Journalists at “24 Vesti” and “Kanal 77” enhanced their professional skills

03.06.2014 Improving the skills of reporters and editors at the TV station 24 Vesti and the radio network Kanal 77, was the main objective of the workshops held during the weekend of May 31st to June 1st, 2014.
The workshops organized by Transparency International-Macedonia are part of the Support to Independent Media in Macedonia project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the British-based NGO, Electoral Reform International Services (ERIS), and is financially supported by the European Union.
